Day 90

And finally, Fail the III.

Apparently the end of March is a bad time for taking photos. I will endeavor to get it together, and get back in the saddle, etc..

Day 89

Fail, take two.

Sunday, March 29, 2009

Day 88

A triad of FAIL coming your way. This be fail one.

Day 87

I can haz springtyme?

Day 86

Yum!! Tasty.

Day 85

It's never too early for a drink. ;)

Day 84

Sometimes my pictures get a little lame. I'm limited when I have a full work day! Sadly, I think it'd be inappropriate to take photos while I massage!

Day 82

So, Carrie and I were walking down Boylston St on our way back to work after an emergency visit to the chiropractor. All of the sudden I look up as something brown and winged flashes across my field of vision, MAYBE 15 ft in front of me. The feathers resolved themselves into the beauty you see above- a Red Tailed Hawk, who had taken a pigeon somewhere, and clearly had plans to lunch on it on top of this truck. The truck was parked just on the other side of the hedge next to where we were walking. Much to my delight (and that of a number of other passers-by), it (she? he? not sure) deigned to sit and pose with it's meal as I snapped a number of photos.

This absolutely made the walk from Copley to Downtown in the cold worthwhile.

Day 81

One of my favorite things about photography is the ability to take something mundane, and frame it in a way that makes it interesting.

Saturday, March 21, 2009

Day 80

This reminds me of something vaguely insect-like. I like it anyway.

Friday, March 20, 2009

Day 79

My little camera's older sibling. Or maybe cousin, since it's a Cannon, not an Olympus.

Thursday, March 19, 2009

Day 78

Dammit. I took my camera OUT of my bag so I would remember it when I went for dinner/drinks. I put it in my glove compartment so it wouldn't look tempting to passers by while I was working. I left it there.

No pictures today.

Day 77

There is something about the composition of this photograph that I like. Something about the way the small pile of oranges reflects the larger one, I think. Also- I like the color. This is part of the fruit stand in Downtown Crossing.

Day 76

Action shot!! I know this one is a little blurry, but I like it anyway. We wore the dog out at the park today. I'm not actually sure who was more tired after our game of "catch", which was really monkey in the middle for the dog. I was pretty pooped.

Monday, March 16, 2009

Day 75

Can you find my new friend? His name is Tide, and he's a little camera shy.

Sunday, March 15, 2009

Day 74

Possibly not the healthiest thing I've eaten recently, but it was really colorful, and very tasty!

Saturday, March 14, 2009

Day 73

It's FINALLY spring!! (and this doesn't look sexual at all. Hush.)

Friday, March 13, 2009

Day 72

Graffiti in Sullivan Station.

Thursday, March 12, 2009

Day 71

*sigh*

I really suck at this, don't I??

I swear- I'll try harder!!

Wednesday, March 11, 2009

Day 70

I totally love this picture. It's usually difficult to get her to stay still once I start snapping, but she decided to ignore me this time and a handful of them came out really well.

Tuesday, March 10, 2009

Day 69

Epic Fail. Carrie has just suggested that I put a picture of myself pouting up every time I fail, as encouragement to get the job done. I disagree.

Sunday, March 8, 2009

Day 67

Apparently it takes the night setting on my camera to make my street pretty.

Saturday, March 7, 2009

Day 66

Sleepy Pixie. As Carrie would say: "A good Jack Russell is a tired Jack Russell". Thankfully, it doesn't take much.

Friday, March 6, 2009

Day 65

So, obviously, I fell quite a bit behind. This is partly due to my being alternately lazy and busy, and partly due to the fact that I was essentially without interwebs for 4 days. (It was really scary. I was profoundly disturbed.)

Anyway, Here is a massive update. There are lots of dog pictures.

This is Cheyenne. Doesn't she look happy?

Thursday, March 5, 2009

Day 64

Forgetful Fail!

I actually forgot to take pictures today. I worked pretty much all day long, so there wasn't a lot of time for cameras anyway. I'll try harder tomorrow!

Wednesday, March 4, 2009

Day 63

Pretty amethyst.

Tuesday, March 3, 2009

Day 62

Spoons. Kinda like how we sleep.

Well- ok, not like THAT (see above). But spooned.

Ok, I'll stop being mushy and cute now.

Monday, March 2, 2009

Day 61

Carrie maintained that if I only tried her homemade applesauce, I would be a convert. I would like applesauce. While I will admit that it was head and shoulders above Mott's, mostly by virtue of being WARM, and tasting like, you know, APPLES (as opposed to dust)- it was still applesauce. It was mushed apples. I am not a fan. She did try though, which was very sweet. :)

Day 60

This was my day. Seriously. I didn't get the advil until the mid-afternoon, and that changed everything. Not feeling like my head was going to explode made me feel 80% better!
