Man, I wish I had been able to capture this squirrel trying to get the apple up the tree to his nest. It was just too heavy, so he kept dropping it and having to start all over again.. Watching him get it out of the trash was impressive to begin with..

Teenage boys in blue.. This photo wasn't meant to be as skeevy as it could be perceived to be. I was trying to take pictures of the folks in revolutionary era clothing, but these kids were blocking my view. When I accidentally clicked here, I liked the monotonous tone.

Ok, so I've pretty much failed for the month of June. There are some sporadic photos, but a lot of fail this month. I blame the weather. It has been nothing but rain for almost a month, and it's making me not want to do anything, ever.

So, tonight we drove all the way down to Ptown to have dinner with some friends. I snapped this picture in the car on the way, meaning to take many more as I wandered around Commercial St. I didn't bring my camera into the restaurant, figuring I'd grab it from the car after... but we never went back to the car. Argh. So, no cool sculptures, no drag queens, no funny signs- just the dog being forced to behave in the car.

My mom came into the city to visit me today. For awhile, we just sat on a bench in the Public Gardens, chatting. I started snapping pictures of the mallards, because their color was so lovely.

Today, Carrie took me to Plum Island, which has a large wildlife reserve. It's on a major migratory route for a lot of birds, so we went birdwatching. I took a lot of pictures of a lot of different flora and fauna, but this one is my favorite. These little goslings were SO CUTE, it was a little painful. Their parents weren't thrilled with our presence, but we managed to avoid any major confrontations!

I try not to post too many dog pictures, but this was too good to pass up. We went for a bike ride today, and when Pixie got tired, Carrie just tucked her into the (for lack of a better word) saddlebags. She seemed strangely content!

At around midnight on Saturday night/Sunday morning a Target truck was idling on my little side street. No one got out, and no one came to the truck. It left me wondering what on earth the driver was doing, and if he realized he was going to have a hell of a time getting around the corner at the end of the street.

The long night exposure made the truck all glowy as it pulled away..
