What I like about this is that the facet that is facing us looks more real than those that aren't. Because they're reflective, they have this insubstantial thing going on. It's sort of cool.

A view from my eyes, a photo for every day of 2009.
You know, I really think your eye is developing very quickly. You have a pretty natural nack for taking your everyday surroundings and capturing them in a way that makes them looks special, mostly with a mix of color/light or close up framing.
ReplyDeleteI think from my personal taste, the direction I'd love to see you expand in is to start incorporating a sense of how lines define the experience of the eye in your photos, as well as how you define the sense of space in your photos.
Keep up the great work. You've got me feeling the urge to pick up a camera again and have some fun myself.
You totally should! I'm really enjoying always having a camera at my fingertips. :) If only Geek Squad would tell me I could have mine back. Carrie's is AWESOME, but mine is more portable and less finicky.
